Lisa Milroy calls herself a still-life painter. She paints things. She paints shoes, clothing, lace, accessories. She paints vases and vessels. Except her paintings and installations…are far from still. Rather, it is hard to keep their mobility in check (Briony Fer). In aid of Hands On Art Workshops, an interactive visual art worhshop programme between London and Kakuma Refugee Camp, Kenya.

AN INFINITE EXPECTATION OF THE DAWN
The Italian Cultural Institute presents an exhibition by Italian artist Flaminia Mantegazza. Working with the malleability of magazine and newspaper paper Mantegazza uses versatile materials to form brilliant wall bas-reliefs, sculptures and large installations.

IN THE BEGINNING – Onyis Martin
A multi-disciplinary artist experimenting with a wide range of materials, Martin’s paintings, drawings and sculptures explore the human condition and the global geopolitical interface, specifically through issues surrounding human trafficking, migration, corruption and displacement. Additionally, he explores matters surrounding communication, the rapidly changing technological environment and the consumerism that surrounds it.
