iNSOLIDARITY
Where there is oppression, there is deep grief that requires space to be held and felt in our community.
In the midst of struggle, it becomes necessary to find ways of renewing strength, redefining goals, and reviving hope.
Through poetry, we relocate ourselves within the movements that matter and reignite our passion for liberation through the space we create for these words.
Join us on Thursday, the 10th of October, from 4PM-7PM at Cheche bookstore and cafe for an afternoon, full of poetry, conversation, and music; our suffering as Kenyan people and standing in solidarity during this time of need.
There will be an open mic, so come all who are willing to lend their voice and amplify the voice of our oppressed kin across the borders.
Free entry for all. Donations of any amount are welcome. Donations will be going towards cash bail needs, as well as supporting those who were injured during Maandamano.

The film explores how the many shades of Zionism, and even Judaism itself, have been conflated with absolute support of Israel, and the lives of many have suffered as a result. It does this through not just detailing the basic history of the Israel-Palestine situation, but more crucially by interviewing and spending time with Jews who have altered their previously unwavering support of Israel after some tough education.
