The 2014 kidnapping of the Chibok schoolgirls was one of those moments that seemed to shake the conscience of the planet. For a brief time, the world could say the name of a small town in northeastern Nigeria. People marched. Leaders tweeted. The phrase Bring Back Our Girls travelled across continents.
Then, as global attention inevitably does, it moved on.
What remained in Chibok were the mothers.
